You can join a small-group guided tour, travel at your own pace on a self-guided trip with its roadbook and GPS tracks, or build a tailor-made trip with an advisor.

Guided or self-guided: which one is right for me?
On a guided tour, a certified English-speaking guide leads a small group: you have no decisions to make and you travel with like-minded people. On a self-guided trip, you choose your dates and your travel companions. We book every stage and provide the roadbook with GPS tracks, and your luggage is waiting for you at the next stop. Who takes care of accommodation and luggage?
We do. We choose each accommodation one by one, book it and visit it again. On our self-guided trips, your luggage is transferred from one stage to the next while you walk with a simple daypack. What is included is stated clearly on each trip page, including luggage transfers when they are part of the trip.
How does payment work?
If you book more than 60 days before departure, you pay a 30% deposit (60% for cruises and trips with boat accommodation), then the balance no later than 60 days before departure. Within 60 days of departure, the full price is due when you book. Credit cards accepted: Visa and Mastercard (not Amex). All the details are in our conditions of sale.
I'm traveling solo: does that work?
Yes, and it's common. A guided tour is a small group: you sign up alone and you hike in company. A self-guided trip also works very well solo: let us know and we will adapt the accommodation. Explore our guided tours.
What fitness level do I need?
Every trip is rated from 1 to 5. The rating reflects daily walking hours and elevation gain, and the type of terrain counts too. The catalog includes trips suited to anyone who walks regularly for a few hours at a time. The rating on each trip explains what each level means. If in doubt, an advisor will help you decide in a two-minute call.
