Grand Angle is a tour operator specializing in guided and self-guided hiking, biking and snow tours throughout France, Europe... and beyond! Born in 1983 from the meeting of Jean-Claude Praire and Anne-Marie Billault, the agency is based in the heart of the Vercors Regional Nature Park, a perfect match for the trips we offer.

A story born from passion
In the autumn of 1983, Grand Angle was born with one aim: enabling founders Jean-Claude Praire and Anne-Marie Billault to live out their professional passions (mountains, travel, nature and the outdoors) while remaining based in the Vercors. Today, that same spirit drives everything we do.

Our home
Based in the Vercors Regional Nature Park, at 1,000m altitude, an extraordinary citadel of limestone and forest greenery.
Engaged for the planet
Our itineraries, on foot or by bike, allow for total immersion in nature while promoting gentle, respectful exploration. Grand Angle has made the choice of Europe, which represents 95% of our catalogue. We encourage the train and are developing a free carpooling service.
Our impact
