2023 - 40 years of adventures
Grand Angle celebrates its 40th anniversary and gets even closer to the action, with the opening of two new offices: in Corfu, Greece (Kelifos) and in Italy (Andiamo). Today, more than 20 office staff and our field and guide teams work together to make every trip seamless.
2019 - Growing from our roots
The construction to double the size of the workspace at our Autrans-Meaudre en Vercors main office is completed, still in the heart of the mountains where it all began.
2017 - Committed to responsible tourism
Member of ATR since 2012, on the board of directors since 2018. Recognised as a Travelife Partner since 2025, progressing towards Travelife Certified. We ensure transparency, respect for local communities, and environmental preservation.

2016 - A family affair
The agency's founders pass the Grand Angle torch to their children David and Thomas, ensuring the same passion continues to drive the company forward.
1995 - Munich to Venice is born
Creation of the "Munich to Venice" hiking trip, a fabulous itinerary that remains one of the most beautiful hikes in Europe. The same year, self-guided cycling trips round out our offerings.
1992 - A proper travel agency
Grand Angle becomes a licensed travel agency and moves into a brand new office in Meaudre, Isere. The first travel agency to set up shop in the Vercors mountains.
1983 - The beginning
The birth of the Grand Angle association, creator of cross-country skiing and walking trips, already specialising in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Nordic countries. Self-guided hiking joins the offering in 1987; snowshoeing in 1985.
1982 - Where it all started
Jean-Claude Praire and Anne Marie Billault meet on a trek in Morocco. A shared passion for mountains, nature and the outdoors becomes the foundation for Grand Angle.
